Austin, TX. – June 9, 2009 — StoredIQ Inc., a leading provider of Intelligent Information Management and eDiscovery technologies, today announced StoredIQ’s Intelligent Information Management Platform support to produce load files optimized for CT Summation Enterprise. The new capability is the result of a joint effort between StoredIQ and CT Summation, a Wolters Kluwer business and the premier provider of litigation workflow and eDiscovery solutions (EDD), leveraging the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) XML standard to facilitate the movement of electronically stored information (ESI) from one electronic discovery software application to another. Customers using both StoredIQ and CT Summation will have a seamless solution across the eDiscovery life cycle that spans from identification, preservation, collection, and processing of ESI all the way through litigation review and production. This new capability complements StoredIQ’s existing discovery production capabilities that support the StoredIQ Native, EDRM XML and several other load file formats.
StoredIQ locates, identifies, indexes and classifies unstructured and semi-structured data across the industry’s broadest range of storage, email, archiving, content, document and record management systems. StoredIQ provides ongoing active search and analysis, enabling counsel to analyze and target data that is potentially responsive to litigation or investigations across the organization, regardless of where it is physically located. Using StoredIQ’s litigation hold policy, organizations can preserve responsive data where it is located or copy the data without changing metadata properties to a retention platform. The potentially responsive data can be further filtered and de-duplicated before being produced in a CT Summation load file. Additionally, for large volumes of data, StoredIQ supports the ability to perform rolling exports, allowing legal teams to begin work in CT Summation before all enterprise data has been collected, eliminating the delay between collection and review.
“This is the first commercial-based integration between two eDiscovery solution providers that leverages the EDRM XML standard,” said George Socha, co-founder of EDRM and president of Socha Consulting LLC. “Both companies leverage the EDRM XML standard to address a major pain point within eDiscovery—moving and formatting the different types of data across disparate systems—and this is an important step towards streamlining the process.”
